    We are pleased to announce that our FA20 ball bearing turbos are now available and shipping!  We've designed and manufactured all new components, so no core is required.  We've designed the our custom housings to support bigger compressor and turbine wheels than the OEM turbo, so expect to see a 15-25% power bump over what the stock turbo is capable of.

    These FA20 turbos are stock location meaning they are a bolt on replacement for the OEM turbo.  They are designed to work with all aftermarket parts that work with the OEM turbo.  What that means is that if you are "stage 2," our turbo will bolt right up to the J-pipe, intake, intercooler, etc. you've already invested in.

    The STX 67R is bassed off a genuine Garrett Japan GTX29 cartridge with our own custom 11-blade 67.4mm compressor wheel.  The 67R is about a 55 lbs/min turbo and is designed for customers who a looking for a more stock-like response.  

    JB vs BB CHRA: The 67R features a ball bearing CHRA vs the 67 journal bearing CHRA.  Normally this means a small degree of more responsiveness; however, on the FA20 platforms, the difference is much more significant.  The FA20 produces a ton more backpressure with these larger turbos than say the EJ25.  This means that JB turbos become inefficient much more often than a BB CHRA which can stay efficient in the face of high levels of backpressure.  The other advantage is durability.  The BB CHRA will simply last longer.

    We supply all of the accessories you need to complete the install right in the box, so there is no running to the dealer or part store to find gaskets and studs.

    This is an upgrade service for the 2016 Ford Focus RS 2.3L EcoBoost factory turbo charger. With this service we will enlarge the compressor housing to accept our 67mm compressor wheel. The rotating assembly will also be balanced for perfect performance and longevity. Our wheel is a +2.35mm inducer and +4mm exducer over the factory compressor wheel. We will only require the compressor housing and center cartridge for the service. No modification is made to the turbine housing. Can be used with the stock waste gate actuator or our SteamSpeed billet actuator. Similar to our STI STX 67, known to make 350-400 whp on pump gas or well over 400 whp on e85. It is the smallest model we currently offer. We recommend it for FocusRS owners who have stock blocks, or want earlier torque. Make no mistake though, this turbo will make a lot more power and torque vs the OEM turbo everywhere on the power curve.Power increases can between 5-15% on a car with all other factory components (no supporting mods) On vehicles with supporting mods, power gains should be in the 20-30% range.
